Overview :
Responsible for defining, designingand executing the product strategy, roadmap, and vision for all Cash Management & recurring payment products including NACH (National Automated Clearin House) BBPS (Bharat Bill Pay System) & UPI Autopay. Ensuring alignment with business goals and market needs, while driving the commercial success of recurring payment products.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Roadmap:
n Define and articulate the product vision, mission, and roadmap for recurring payment products.
n Translate business goals into product strategies and prioritize features accordingly.
n Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and differentiate products.
n Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
n Integrate regulatory foresight & emerging fintech trends into roadmap planning to proactively address compliance & innovation.
Product Development & Execution:
n Work closely with Pre-Sales, QA, design, and other cross-functional teams to design, launch & re-design the products.
n Define product requirements and specifications to BAs ensuring clarity and feasibility.
n Manage the product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond.
n Prioritize and manage the backlog of features and enhancements in line with regulations & market requirements
n Work closely with UI UX designers from building figmas to end product delivery
n Create, update & periodically review, product Standard Operating Process Documents and User Guides to be circulated to internal as well as external stakeholders
n Drive digital-1st, API-led product development with emphasis on scalability, integration readiness (plug & play) & partner adaptability.
Commercial Success:
n Monitor product performance and identify areas for improvement.
n Analyze customer feedback and data to take relevant product decisions.
n Collaborate with sales, marketing, and customer support to drive adoption and revenue.
n Market Research / Competitive Analysis - to identify opportunities for new additions or improving / accommodating changes.
n Develop business cases & pricing strategies in collaboration with commercial teams to support monetisation efforts.
Stakeholder Management:
n Communicate product strategy and roadmap to stakeholders, including leadership and cross-functional teams.
n Liaise with internal & external stakeholders including banks, payment aggregators, regulatory bodies (NPCI, RBI) & partners to ensure product compliance, scalability & relevance.
n Manage expectations and ensure alignment on product priorities.
n Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, BA, design, Techc, Implementation, Customer Support) to ensure successful product launches and ongoing support.
Skills & Qualification:
n Educational Qualification & Experience: Preferrably a B.Tech or MBA with relevant experience of at least 2 years of experience in Recurring Payments & Cash Management Products
n Strong analytical and problem-solving skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
n Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to effectively communicate product strategy and roadmap to stakeholders.
n Experience in product management: Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products.
n Knowledge of the Payments & Banking industry: Understanding of recurring payment technologies, platforms, and regulations
n Familiarity with agile methodologies: Experience working in an agile development environment.
n Ability to work independently and collaboratively: Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
