Responsibilities:
• Experience in electrical design and detail engineering, review of vendor
drawings, team leadership, Project Coordination & Management.
• Development of main and auxiliary SLD’s, auxiliary transformer sizing
calculation, 125V DC system, 400/230V AC UPS system, emergency diesel
generator sizing calculation.
• Planning of complete electrical design drawings covering overall and major
equipment layouts, cable trays, earthing, lighting & lightning protection.
• LV cable ampacity and sizing calculation, Indoor & outdoor lighting system
design calculation.
• Grounding system design calculation using CDEGS software.
• Experienced in ETAP in short circuit studies, Load flow analysis.
• Inter discipline coordination with Mechanical and Civil dept to resolve the
design issues.
• Preparation of building wall, floor cutout layouts, duct bank, cable trench
layout & cable raceway systems.
• AC & DC system calculations and verifications
• Station Service Transformer Sizing, Station Battery & Battery Charger
Sizing calculation.
• LV Breaker Sizing & Selection.
• Preparation of Panel Board Schedules
• Preparation of Material Schedules (Lighting Fixtures, Power Receptacles,
Cables, etc.)
• Managing and Coordination with clients, site team, vendor to ensure
adherence of project specification and on time and efficient completion of
projects.
• Estimation of Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
Must be familiar with SEC Standards and other relevant Internation design
codes.
• Must be proficient in using Software’s like CDEGS, Dia lux, ETAP, Cym
grid.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Electrical Design of Substation in
KSA.
• Local transfer will be preferable
