Job Context
• The domain being financial services (specifically around lending & transaction banking) , there
will be continuous enhancements and changes to the systems.
• There will be continuous demands to the cloud platform on which these services will run from
security, performance, ease of deployment, high availability, redundancy among others.
Some of the specific tasks that this job will perform include:
• Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure: Will be responsible for designing
cloud-based infrastructure, including computing, storage, and networking systems, that meet
the requirements of an organization.
• Designing framework for devops automation: Will design and deliver the architecture to
deliver automation in continuous deployment & integration of applications over the cloud
infrastructure.
• Building and deploying cloud-based applications: Will work with software developers to
create and deploy cloud-based applications and services.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting: Will be responsible for monitoring cloud infrastructure to
ensure optimal performance and addressing issues that arise.
• Security and compliance: Will work to ensure that cloud-based systems and applications
are secure and compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
• Automation and optimization: Will use automation tools and techniques to optimize and
streamline cloud infrastructure and applications.
• High Availability, DR & BCP : Will be plan for the redundancy at all levels – applications,
database, networks to ensure high uptime as well as minimum RPO & RTO.
• General Database Administration: Will ensure installations, health checkup of databases,
backup & recovery aspects.
Enabling Skill Sets , Qualifications & Experiences
• Experience with effective data management & backup, and disaster recovery planning. •
Experience with AWS cloud setups. Microsoft (Azure) Cloud setups experience will be a
plus.
• Experience with setting up hybrid private and public cloud setups.
• Experience working with open-source software on Linux.
• Experience with serverless function setups.
• Experience with message queue and/or Apache Kafka setups.
• Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes cluster setups & orchestration
