Job Position Engineer / Sr. Engineer
Department/ Area Electrical Design Team – Secondary
Reports To Manager / Team Lead.
Location Pune / Chennai
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
• Preparation of schematics for control and protection panels, Local Control Cubicles (LCC), interlocking
logic, and Substation Automation Systems (SAS).
• Develop associated manufacturing documents and ensure compliance with project specifications for
high voltage substations.
• Interpret and apply relevant IEC/IEEE standards for both high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV)
switchgear and control gear.
• Proficient in switchgear systems, protection relays, and Bay Control Units (BCUs), including interlocking
logic design.
• Liaise with site teams and clients to gather design inputs and incorporate into final engineering
documents.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of catalogue items used in LCC, CRP (Control & Relay Panels), and SAS
panels.
• Utilize AutoCAD or EPLAN software (preferably version 2.9) for schematic and panel design work.
• Demonstrate a clear understanding of various operating mechanisms for circuit breakers, disconnector
switches, and earth switches
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
o Experience: 4 to 8 Years
o Qualification B.E / B. Tech / M. Tech (Electrical).
o Skills:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Sound understanding of IEC/IEEE standards.
• Familiarity with protection & control equipment and their logical interfaces.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or EPLAN.
