Quality Assurance
Ensure LV switchgear panels comply with technical specifications, drawings, and standards.
Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections of panels and components.
Verify mechanical assembly, wiring quality, labeling, and component installation.
Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
Testing & Commissioning
Perform routine electrical tests including:
Insulation Resistance Test (IR)
High Voltage Test (Hi-Pot)
Functional Testing
Secondary Injection Test
Interlock Checking
Continuity Test
Verify protection relay functionality and control circuits.
Ensure proper testing of breakers such as Air Circuit Breaker, Molded Case Circuit Breaker, and Miniature Circuit Breaker.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare and maintain:
Test reports
Inspection reports
Quality records
Non-conformance reports (NCR)
Maintain test certificates and compliance documentation.
Compliance & Standards
Ensure switchgear panels meet relevant standards such as:
IEC 61439
IEC 60947
ISO 9001
Ensure adherence to safety procedures and electrical regulations.
Coordination
Coordinate with design, production, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
Support factory acceptance tests (FAT) with customers or consultants.
Assist commissioning teams when required.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
2–5 years experience in LV Switchgear panel manufacturing or testing.
