Job Description

responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous operation of all machinery, equipment, and systems within a facility. This role involves analyzing, designing, and improving maintenance procedures, as well as leading
repair and preventive maintenance efforts to minimize downtime and optimize production processes.

Responsibility
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the efficient operation of
  • machinery, equipment, and plant systems.
  • o Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and
  • avoid unexpected breakdowns.
  • Prioritize and manage corrective maintenance tasks based on production needs and
  • equipment failure risks.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and other equipment issues to
  • restore functionality.
  • Lead and perform repairs on faulty equipment, ensuring that repairs are made in a
  • timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Work with external contractors or service providers for specialized repairs when
  • necessary.
  • Continuously assess existing maintenance processes and procedures to identify areas
  • for improvement in efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Apply lean manufacturing principles and reliability-centered maintenance practices to
  • improve asset performance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurrent equipment failures and implement corrective
  • actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Coordinate the setup and calibration of new equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards, legal regulations, and
  • environmental guidelines.
  • Identify safety hazards in the maintenance process and ensure that corrective
  • measures are taken.
  • Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as downtime, mean time
  • Supervise and mentor maintenance technicians, providing training on new equipment,
  • procedures, and best practices.
  • Oversee the inventory management of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies.
  • Ensure that critical parts are readily available to minimize downtime due to delays in parts procurement.

  • o Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve production or maintenance
  • challenges.
  • Coordinate and lead maintenance teams for scheduled and unscheduled tasks.
  • Ensure effective communication and teamwork within the maintenance department
  • and with other teams.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the line manager.
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 yrs of experience in a maintenance engineering role within
  • manufacturing, industrial, or facilities management environments.
  • o Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • o Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems or enterprise
  • resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • o Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Electrical, or
  • Mechanical certifications) are an advantage.
  • o Ability to manage projects related to equipment upgrades, replacements, and
  • system improvements.
  • o Ability to lead a team of maintenance personnel, providing guidance and
  • ensuring high-performance standards.
  • o Careful attention to system performance, safety standards, and maintenance
  • processes.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills to identify root causes of failures and implement effective solutions.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to report findings, interact with
  • other departments, and provide instructions to the maintenance team.
Salary and Benefits
  • Salary: $SAR 8000 to 8500 Monthly
