Job Purpose
Define and own the overall solution and technical architecture for the bank’s middleware platform, ensuring a scalable, secure, and high-performing system.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and maintain core platform solutions for evolving transaction banking requirements.
Work closely with Business Analysts, Dev Leads, and other departments to align technical design with business goals.
Collaborate with Product, Security, and Cloud Infra teams to ensure a seamless, secure, and scalable product delivery.
Ensure technical solutions meet non-functional requirements: scalability, auditability, security, reliability, and performance.
Key Challenges
Balancing quick product delivery with long-term architectural integrity.
Navigating rapidly evolving cloud technologies.
Ensuring security in design and implementation across all layers.
Skillset & Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in backend/cloud architecture, preferably in banking or middleware domains.
Minimum 2 years in a Solution/Application Architect role.
Proficient in:
Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate
Microservices Architecture
Cloud Platforms – AWS, Azure, or GCP
API design (REST, SOAP)
Middleware technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, etc.)
Authentication & Security (OAuth, SAML, AD, etc.)
