Conduct periodic and corrective testing of protective relays (electromechanical, static, and numerical types). Perform protection system inspection, calibration, and functional testing for substations and switchgear. Review and interpret protection coordination studies and relay settings. Perform commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of protection and control systems. Prepare test reports, calibration certificates, and maintenance documentation. Ensure all testing and maintenance activities comply with industry standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, etc.) and client requirements. Identify and resolve issues in trip circuits, control wiring, and relay logic schemes. Support system upgrades, retrofitting, and modernization projects related to protection systems. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure safe and reliable operation of protection equipment. Maintain proper usage and calibration of test equipment (Omicron, Doble, Megger, etc.).
