Protection Engineer (10+ years)
Responsibilities:
• Preparation & Review of Relay & Metering One Line Diagram, Single Line
Diagram with CT/VT Parameters, Interlock Logic Diagram, Closing &
Tripping Logic Diagram, Cable Schedule and Cable Termination Schedule
,Protection and Control panel Schematic Diagrams.
• Preparation of SAS/TFR/SOE/DSM/ANN/SCADA Point Lists as per SOW.
• Interface engineering and protection modification works.
• Performing and reviewing of CT and VT adequacy & Relay Setting
Calculations & Relay Coordination on ETAP.
• Preparation of Control Design works & Verification of Bill of Materials.
• Coordination with vender to resolve the technical queries from client.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Protection Design of Substation in
KSA.
• Knowledge of Power Systems Engineering within a substation environment
and understanding of secondary system design / commissioning
• Solid understanding of power flow, dynamic response, grid stability, and
contingency planning.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and operational data handling is a plus.
• Preparation of SLD's,RMOLD's, Relay Settings,Load flow,Interfacing,Interlocking logic diagram, etc....
• Preparation of SAS , TFR and DSM etc, point list
